Vintage Hospitality is thrilled to announce that Stephen Brummitt will be joining the team at Liquidity Bistro as Restaurant Manager effective March 1st 2017. Stephen brings a wealth of fine dining experience, having held positions at Bouchon Bistro in Kelowna and Cioppino’s Mediterranean Grill in Vancouver.

We are thrilled to announce that Chef Simon Bouchard has taken the reins as Executive Chef at Liquidity Bistro. Chef Rob Walker is stepping down from his position at Liquidity Bistro to pursue another opportunity closer to his home in Kelowna.
We would like to congratulate Simon on his new role and welcome him to Liquidity Bistro. Simon brings with him a fresh approach to wine country cuisine and is excited to explore the terroir of Okanagan Falls.
Simon’s background includes experience as the Catering Chef at Mission Hill Winery, Sous Chef at The Bear Foot Bistro in Whistler and most recently Chef at The Vineyard Kitchen at Black Hills Estate Wines. We look forward to Simon taking on the culinary program at Liquidity Bistro and are confident he will help the team to continue to build on the successes to date.

Gold Medal Plates Canadian Culinary Championship’ top three Canadian chefs for 2016 will join winery chef Rob Walker for this gourmet dinner at art-filled Liquidity Bistro with its stunning vista overlooking McIntyre Bluff. Two-time Canadian Culinary Champion Marc Lepine of Ottawa’s Atelier, 2016 silver medalist Matthew Batey of Calgary’s The Nash and bronze winner Alex Chan of Vancouver’s Boulevard will compete once again to win diner’s palates, preparing a summer fest based on the freshest of local ingredients and paired with award-winning vintages from Liquidity along with local BC wines. Rhys Pender, Master of Wine, will emcee this extraordinary event.

It takes a lot to be the best, especially amongst winners. A panel of industry judges, led by DJ Kearney, have the difficult job of deciding this year’s Top 25 and the winners are announced in late September. On November 7th at Cornucopia’s Top 25 Celebratory Reception at the Whistler Public Library, we will award the 2015 Top Red, Top White and Top Bubble and celebrate the festival’s entire Top 25.
